The Maxon MDP-6000 Series radios are our latest high-quality DMR Tier 2/Analog portable radios, built tough with IP-67 rating and 5W of TX power for both UHF and VHF models. Solid in hand, but not large in size or heavy, the series has a loud 1W speaker and uses a bright OLED display for great readability in day or night. MDP-6000 radios have several helpful features such as a built-in flashlight, programmable keys, VOX, 256bit AES-CTR encryption standard, and several antenna options to allow the radio to fit easier on a belt or within a backpack or purse. Programming can be done via PC or clone radio to radio wirelessly or via cloning cable. Additional factory options include Motorola/DMRA-Compatible AES Encryption, TX Inhibit, Man Down, & GPS.

The Maxon TPD-1000 Series combines exceptional two-way radio functionality with analog and TDMA digital technology. The radio allows you to operate in either analog or digital mode. It is compatible with the common analog system, ensuring a smooth transition from analog-to-digital.

The Maxon TPD-1000 series with display model has a large high definition full color display. This provides the ability to text and have a full visual status of the radio. The addition of a new feature supplies the ability to send a text message with the push of one button.

Compared to analog operation, the Maxon TPD-1000 can get up to 40% additional operation time in digital mode. The TPD-1000 comes equipped with a standard high capacity 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery.

In addition, the TPD-1000 offers higher spectrum efficiency and channel capacity in digital mode. The TDMA technology allows the TPD-1000 to get twice the channels based on the same spectrum resource. This is beneficial to relieve the increasing shortage of spectrum resources.
